Q: If the child is strong enough and fit and a decent bike.

Q: I am 13 years old. I have an old somewhat heavy mountain bike and I want to ride it. But I'm stuck in the basement and I'm sure as hell not doing this outside (My neighbors are evil sacks of poo).

Any help? How the hell do I go more than a foot without losing balance?

Volunteers repair trails for bike race

A week before the fire Saturday on the race Rim mountain bike, volunteers gathered early morning in the parking lot of the Ponderosa Pine market. They came together to prepare the track for some of the best mountain bikers in the West - and to raise funds to protect the Pine and Strawberry forest fires at the same time.

Scott Davidson has organized this event volunteer.He leads a group of informal trails building called the Payson Area Single Track Association (pasta), which hopes to challenge, bike-friendly trails and a good turnout will finally put Rim Country on the map for mountain bikers - a potentially vital constituency for a region based on the outdoor tourism.
