Purchased these as my first pair of bib-shorts. I had been using a much cheaper generic brand cycling short that I was actually very happy with. However, I was given a jersey and was worried my crack would hang out with the regular shorts so I picked these up.
As far as I could find, these were the cheapest well-reviewed bib-shorts available. Of course I’d heard of the Pearl Izumi brand, but had never wanted to shell out the big price. I’m very glad I did! The day after I received these, I completed a 55 mile lake ride and they were amazing throughout. The padding is very adequate, the grippers on the leg bottoms are comfortable.
