Washington, DC - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Swix Sport USA and Uvex Sports announced a voluntary recall of products Uvex Ski Helmets with Huskies for the head injury risk that the product has. The CPSC announced the recall of products July 21, 2011.

Product recall nationally was issued after discovering that the helmet provides insufficient shock absorption and penetration resistance, which poses a risk of head injury to consumers.
